The list of cities includes all the cities that Waze knows about in that area, even if there are no segments assigned to them. This can happen when a city has been removed, but Waze haven't updated their city layer yet.
I've put in a minor tweak to only show cities that are actually being used on streets: Beta v1.5.6
Might give unexpected results if zoomed out. Please provide feedback...

Anyone tried this yet? Any cities appearing in the list that shouldn't, or vica versa? Hoping to push this to a public release soon...

Beta time, again. Here's Color Highlights v1.5.7:
  • Highlight landmarks when a specific city is selected
  • Fixed saving of options when leaving the editor
Tested in Chrome and Firefox - seems to work...

I'm nervous about inexperienced editors being able to understand the node problems, so I'll keep those hidden under Advanced Options for now. I will move the 'Unterminated Roads' highlight up to the main options though.
iainhouse wrote:The highlighting seems to be "sticky": if I turn on city highlighting, the landmarks don't highlight until I mouseover them. Similarly, if I turn the highlighting off, I have to mouseover again to un-highlight the landmark.
Fixed.

New beta version here: v1.5.8!

A minor fix was uploaded today (same version) to fix a bug that affected non-AMs.

Final call for feedback for this beta...

Do you have the 'No City' option enabled? That takes precedence over the 'Unconnected Roads' option.

Are ramps not easily discernible by their natural green colour on the map? I don't see why they need to have additional highlighting.

And it's not even specific to the JNF script - any editor can use QW on every junction node they see with red arrows, blindly allowing all turns without adding value to the map and destroying any information that may have been there.

Displaying 'measles' to every road just presented another excuse to 'fix' junctions that didn't need fixing.

Yes. Unnamed and paved roads are highlighted with bold red until they are named and connected. There's no option to disable it...
