Is there any way to report people abusing the editor to gain points?

I have a user in my area who seems to be going through, deleting intersections, and then improperly redoing them. This guy's stuff is easy to catch because he doesn't try to make anything match the actual streets; he just uses short straight segments of which he leaves at least one red (even weirder they all show up with as being in Alabama when this is in Pittsburgh. I noticed he redid one of mine like this today; I've sent him a PM but he's never posted on the forums so I doubt he'll respond.

As far as the 303 highway.... argh! Not sure what to do here. It's a wreck and not sure what's going on over there.. I got access to it today but damn I haven't driven it in awhile and dont know what it's current state is.
Well, that will give me something to do when I get tired of deleting driveways in Virginia. :D

hundreds of them... and not just in this permalink
 :o
Have you been in contact with jbills31 to see why he felt it necessary to map every farm lane?
If you need help eliminating all those useless farm roads I can run the delete button as good as anybody. Lemme know.

I took the chance contacting waze to see if they could revert. Dont know if it's possible though
That looks like some level 1 screwed up while trying to map ramps at the interchanges. The relocated highway mostly follows (what I assume are the new) ramps on the east side of the real road.

I just saw the CONST ZN label on some of the segments. Perhaps the highway is temporarily relocated to the ramps while overpasses are being constructed? What does ItsEric have to say?

Type a question or statement that relates to your query first. If the content does not relate, click the link that indicates your query is not answered. Select a related category on the next screen after clicking the link.
If this still does not help, there is another link that you can click to open the email form.

The hidden link is likely just to filter out lazy users that pops emails as a first option, instead of doing some research first. Sort of a 'Research for Dummies' intro, yet with very relevant and extensive Info being covered along the way.

The user contacted me this morning... I'll leave it at that for now.

As for state and country, in Erie, PA I've noticed new segments randomly defaulting to things near the border (New York, Ohio, and occasionally the country goes to Canada) but never something completely in a different area.

What's his rank? Sounds like he must be using the old editor if the state is coming up as Alabama.
He's listed as zero on the edits.

skbun wrote: I proposed this to one of the folks at Waze; one way to nail the URs for Portola would be to temporarily assign all segments inside the actual city of Portola Valley using the extended tools to something else, then tag every single remaining segment with the Waze Automatic error, with a much simpler algorhythm hit. (Does this segment's primary CityID equal 'Portola Valley'? If so, flag it.) Then put Portola Valley, the city, back.
NO. If you identified EVERY segment that would be thousands and thousands and thousands of them that would be flagged. As stated in another thread about smudges... the Portola Valley city (outside of the actual city) should be changed to blank!.

shawndoc wrote: Oh heck no. Jemay actually I believe handled most of the auto-generated errors about it, but there's still plenty of smudge out there. Every now and then when I've got the time and inclination I'll spend an hour or so at it, but its pretty widespread in the countryside. Now that we have a version of Extended Tools for the new editor where the segment list works in Chrome, I'll probably start cleaning up more.
The auto-generated are only if the city (and in most cases in California - Portola Valley) is inside of another city area. there are TONS MORE (Portola Valley) outside of the city area that are not flagged. And that would take several people several years to find and eliminate manually. Today I have found more with the auto-generated, you just have to go to remote cities/towns...
