In main lines: I like this app a lot - actually I'm addicted.
About last version: It is terrible!
I have Samsung Galaxy GT-I9003, it is hanging all day long, gas prices aren't active, and GPS "get lost" not only at the gas stations for gas prices but on the road for a moment of different goals as well!
If we all want get more waze friends and get our family bigger than need this problem solve faster!
Some friends of mine also aren't satisfied about this version - in Android play store we can read bad things about this version as well from different users.
Thanks Latvia's main manager Instigarer - he correctly instructed how to get previous version on a phone! Now everything is ok.
PLEASE RE FIX IT ! IT ISN'T A GOOD ADVERTISEMENT ! THANKYOU!
I would like to also add that Waze was crashing like crazy on a drive from Georgia to South Carolina - it seemed like I could trigger the crash by attempting to add a stop, and the crash would occur after indicating that I was a passenger, and then bringing up the keyboard. Waze doesn't seem to know it's crashing either, normally I would be prompted to submit logs, although I never have been.
Hi Perlin, not sure if this has been reported yet or not, but when going to my waze > view settings > > any menu and you click on the X in the upper right corner, it brings you back to the my waze screen. It should bring you back to the view settings screen.
This version of waze, 3.5.3.0, is causing my AT&T Samsung SGH-I727 ( skyrocket ) to run so hot that I can't hold it in my hand.
A 30 minute drive with the phone plugged into the car charger used up 30% of the batter life.
Some of the first versions of Wazed I used had similar issues, but recent versions ( the last two at least ) really seemed to cut this effect down.
Can someone with a fresh mind explain me why on earth in 3D mode, oneway streets do not display those arrows ? In 2D mode at a certain zoom level they are displayed, but on 3D they are not displayed no matter what zoom level you have. What's the reason behind this ? I think those arrows are very important to be displayed in 3D mode.
They are not displayed in the stable version neither in latest beta version.
I hope not, I'm pretty sure that some arrows wouldn't affect so hard the performance of an Android phone. And if they do, well, it's time to bring some serious Android developers to the team. But I still hope it's not the case.
Anyway, they can be seen in 2D mode so if they affect the performance so hard, it shouldn't be displayed in 2D either. One more reason to think that's not the reason.
Regarding the screen size, they are not available on 3.5 but not on 4.8 either. So .... 4.8 inch screen is big screen after my opinion And even on 3.5 the arrows in 2D mode are displayed just fine.
