Does Waze support still exist ??

It's a simple request to upgrade to Level 4 now I have over 100k points.

Everyone says contact waze.com/support but try it for yourself all you get is a load if nano rep faq's

I eventually find a contact form and fill it in. Next day I get an email from support@waze which only contains the same blurb as the FAQ. Checking the mail header it actually came from nano rep not waze at all!

Tried emailing support@waze.com and get an automated response from a non monitored account referring me to the nano rep form again.

Hence the question does Support still exist and if so how do I contact them to get my upgrade?

Very frustrating :(

Looks like Waze "Community reorganization" http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=38256 proposals will be the next defining factor.

I'll chase this up for you and find out what the current process is, even if it's a temporary process until the new system that Tim refers to is put in place.

You're too quick Iain, that's pretty much what I was about to post (confirmed via Waze HQ for now and they admit it's currently a little long-winded). You also had a small helping hand in pushing through your upgrade! ;-)

Upgrade is not currently automatic but will be in the future.

g1btv, I've asked HQ to look out for your request!

Thanks everyone

That was the form that I filled in yesterday and got the reply with just the FAQ info again. I have tried replying to it to ask again but the message headder is from Nano rep not Waze so I'm still not sure if its gone to the correct place

Will see what happens over the next days

You can still do it, but it's a bit "hidden". I seem to remember AlanOfTheBerg suggesting it's a way to force people to look at the automated support options they're given rather than just emailing straight away - and that's probably by accident rather than design. :lol:

I successfully sent a request at the weekend to get my L5/CM upgrade. These steps seem to still work:
  • Go to the Support page.
  • In the box where it says "Please type your question here" type "Upgrade" (probably doesn't matter what you actually type!)
  • When the text box appears with the suggestions, at the bottom it will say "Still can't find what you're looking for? Click here". Click there!
  • You'll get another list of options headed "Please choose from the following categories". Click on "Problems with my Waze account". (Other choices also work, but there some have extra sub-menus following them)
  • At the bottom of that list it will say "If you cannot find your answer, Please click here.". Click there.
  • Voilá, the NanoRep email form! It's not made clear but the first, largest box is the subject line. It will probably be filled in with a single word, which won't be accepted as being too short. Fill in the form and click submit.
I have had an answer within 24 hours, but then I've also had one take several weeks. :o My L4 and L5 upgrades both took at least a couple of days.

You're right, the Nanorep interface has changed, and you can no longer "Email agent". It seems they don't want to be contacted any more.

Edit: Iain found how to send support an email. See below...

There is a rumour that they're working on a new system, but no word on when we might see that.
