when you go to the lifemap or dashboard from the forum, you are going on www.waze.com and its American server. Europe has world.waze.com

thanks for the answer... one more question though,
On my phone, Waze shows a road which does not appear in the "live Map", however, in the "update map" it shows as a red line... a bit unclear to me.

Oh, and is there a way to c if some1 responded to a post you made??

North America is on the www.waze.com site.

Are you using www.waze.com which is the North America site, or world.waze.com which is the site brought up for everywhere else?

Also base maps were not available in all areas, as base maps need to be sourced from places where the license allows waze to sell the updates later, as that is the business model that allows us users to use it for free.
