Known problem - no new GPS points on cartouche

GPS points are currently not uploaded to the cartouche.
For www.waze.com this started on July 22nd, for world.waze.com this started on July 11th.

The reason is performance issues due to many new GPS points and the system not being able to handle them with the current settings.
We are revising the GPS points and will upload all the missing ones as soon as we have the improved architecture in place. No GPS points are lost, and you can still see your routes (from your archive), but you will not see any GPS points there. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope that the new settings will also allow for a faster cartouche work with the GPS points.

Er... didn't we agree at some point to keep the "known service issues" together in a single sticky? Until there is an official "Server Status Page", ofcourse?

Hopefully? I wish I had your optimism! In your place, I would consider a bugtracking-system.

However, I am glad there is a list and hopefully, hopefully it will grow shorter, not longer.

Well that explains why I'm unable to edit places that I've driven outside my management area recently. Thanks for letting us know.

I updated that topic (at the time) on the sticky and also in a separate post (this one), as some people aren't aware of that post. I will do the same with other known issues.. which hopefully will not be too many

It's not uncommon for GPS points to linger for days in the system and eventually appear. It recently came to their attention after much greater details into the problem was brought to their attention and they were very happy to acknowledge, analyze, diagnose, act, and debrief us.

It's good to know that this is a known issue.
