I've been labeling the "U-turn" as "Turnaround" for this simple reason. There's usually a sign that says "Turnaround" with an arrow pointing left directing you to....well, simply....turnaround.
Also, I think service roads/frontage roads shouldn't be named as the same as the highway(s) they serve for a couple of reasons. I've found that shield generation will default to the service road before it creates one on the actual highway. I don't know why, don't know how, but it does. Second, you don't take an exit off of US-82 onto US-82, you take the exit off of US-82 and get onto the service road, which leads me to my next point about service roads.....Have you ever seen an exit for "Service Rd"? I haven't, although I've seen plenty for "Frontage Rd."
From another discussion, somewhere, and I cannot remember with who, "Frontage Rd" seems to be the better name when it comes to these roads. That's my honest opinion.
