How does Waze know My State?
Been using Waze seriously for several months now. It ahs totally replaced Google Maps, so kudos to them.
My question - Waze ranks me based on the points I earn, against everyone else in my state. Well, how does Waze know what is "my" state?
Sure, most of my driving is in one state. But what happens when I fly to another state for work, and do a lot of driving there? Are those points helping me in my ranking in my true home state? Or does Waze think I moved, and is now ranking me against drivers in my "work" state?
What about a long drive, where I pass through half a dozen states? Is Waze continually thinking my home state has changed?
