i also miss this button on better accessible place too. My opinion is that this is really bad decision to end with 4sqr (for me its real reason to change placement of 4sqr button).

Waze already got lot of users due cooperation with 4sqr and for now i think that they plan and want to quit this friendship (this process already started with move 4sqr button to somewhere on hidden place in menu).

What used to take three taps now takes five. DO NOT LIKE.

it is possible to hide speedometer: settings - display - speedometer (checkbox)

I definitely think that it would be much more useful to place report of "camera" under "map issue" option and bring 4Sq back.

Currently many users are unaware of what camera report really does and that causes:
1. Police report's lost - instead of creating proper police report immediately visible to others we got unapproved speed cam in WME. We are loosing very valuable data!
2. Tons of useless speed cams in WME.

Devs, pls think of it.

Are people still worrying about Foursquare? Checking into places to get points for no good reason? I lost interest in 4sq about a year ago.

I do see fewer apps working together these days. A troubling sign.

This feature never worked. I would go to my Foursquare account to find that in never recorded my check ins

I too was very disappointed to see the dedicated foursquare check-in button replaced by a road closure button. I live in rural California and use the app to check-in on foursquare and report hazards, traffic and police as well as check-in on foursquare... seems a problem for more than a few... am still waiting for the speedometer to not be covered up by the the main report icon on the droid dna... if I had an option I'd be gone..

Agreed. It's much less friendly to get to and keeps your eyes off the road longer.
Personally I am unsure why, if they wanted to implement this under the My Friends feature a dedicated button could not be left as well. In landscape mode there would still have been plenty of room for it and the Closures button.
Even if they just wanted to change it to a "Social Check-In" button, rather than a dedicated Foursquare only button, to include Facebook check-in, that would have worked better than burying things where they are now.
