Under Settings / Social Networks you are likely showing pop-ups from groups you follow.
Set it to none.

I am using the HTC One Developer Edition, using the stock official firmware.

Waze will not run - instant crash after the loading intro screen.

Here's a link to the bugreport - showing a fresh install of Waze (/sdcard/waze does not exist) and running it. Some sort of crash while getting location services access.

I noticed this problem a couple versions ago, but it never bothered me enough to report it. When I'm navigating somewhere, whenever I reach a point within about a quarter of mile from my destination I get a popup saying that I've lost the GPS signal. Then about a few seconds later it disappears and all is normal with no actual interruption of navigation.

I saw a few other posts on the subject, but they were all posted last year and nothing else current.

Every single time waze goes in bkgd it crashes at 3min 15secs aprox.

Please FIX IT.

1) The splash screen is still distorted when going into landscape mode.

2) Unable to pick up GPS on several occasions, even though the GPS is on. At other times GPS is on but the notifications bar icon keeps blinking as if it's searching. Don't know if this is a problem with my rom or Waze.

3) None of my friends are showing up on the My Friends page.

4) GPS went all wonky today and my car kept jumping from one incorrect location to another or on the wrong side of the road and rerouting accordingly. This has never happened before.

Another problem has popped up.

The Scoreboard and My Friends screens are absolutely blank and remain that way. The screen cap of my friends page refuses to upload so I guess you just have to take my word for it.


Also, the last time I used it, Waze client did not automatically turn on GPS.

I certainly hope you add a reply button and full conversation capabilities in future versions. I feel the Inbox is a bit useless without it.

Several crashes, usually during the starting up process especially while mapping out a route. It crashed 3 times on friday evening and again today morning at 10 am. logs sent at 4:09 pm (GMT +5:30) today (11th March 2013)

First time ever, Waze AUTO-RESTARTED! How does that even happen?

Anyhoo, it happened twice and then crashed between 1835 and 1839 hrs (GMT +5:30) on March 16th. Then I started Waze at 0005 hrs on 17th March and it crashed again.

Logs sent 18th March (Today, just a few minutes ago) at 0409 hrs (GMT +5:30)

Please do look into this. No version of Waze has crashed on me so much. Not even the Betas.

EDIT: And this time I really did send the logs. I had fogotten to turn on Debug last time and I apologise for that.

This was a very nice message... Should be displayed more frequently... But we need to know the radius for the count of "wazer near me". If the radius is 15 km, I don't care of the message. If the radius is 1 km, it start to be interresting !

Honestly, I don't know the radius but it should be pretty big since I usually get 20 to 27 wazers nearby but i just think that's in my city because we don't have a lot of wazers in New Delhi. So, i too would like to know the radius.

And yes, it is a standard feature in the client that shows for a few seconds. Makes me feel good no matter what the radius is.
