I have been accomplishing some of the bonus and newbie points, but when i look to see if I have received any points, I have none? just wandering if there was a reason for that or if points don't update right then. Please someone clarify this for me. Thank you

First, be certain you are on the right server (read the FAQ linked in my signature - #17 will give details on the servers). But generally, when a new account is created, it can take up to a week for the scoreboard to start showing points. You just created your account yesterday, so give it a few more days.
