Can we all agree that "Timebased turnrestriction" is the phrase of choice here? Makes googling so much easier...

You can trust google in that "site:waze.com time turn restriction" gives some decent hits, but the forumsearch? Apart from that - do we have a glossary of some kind in the wiki? (I can not check right now)

This thread has suggested that the FAQ and Best Practices documents appear to give contradictory advice on handling time-based turn restrictions. When limited to a cursory reading, I think they have a point. Since the discussion already had someone volunteer to change the Wiki, I thought it would be a good idea to bring it up here.

Yes I think time based, timebased, or time-based (or something like that) should at least be in the glossary, then in the definition we can talk about / point to restricted (turns and/or roads)

Great idea. If anyone has any concerns for the now current instructions in the Wiki on time-based turn restrictions, please voice your opinion. I have updated the FAQ today based on prior forum conversations. The "best map editing practices" article is as it was last edited in February from those same conversations.

The two Wiki locations are:
