My Dashboard and bonus points

Post by BGS51
Im a newcomer, when it comes to finally trying to figure this whole beautiful application out, which has a question if someone doesn't mind helping me in some form.

While reading the wiki finally, I realized there should be a list of your current drives (yea im a noob still for just figuring that out). However, when I go to, "My Dashboard", I only see the editing box and the information to the right of it. Any ideas? I saw it sometimes takes new users a couple days for it to appear but I've been signed up long enough.

Probably missed the solution while searching but again any form of help would be greatly appreciated! (ill try and keep familiarizing myself with this so I don't have to come here asking silly questions)

The Drives section of the dashboard was removed a long time ago. It is now in the editor under the Drives tab on the left side.

Can you post a link to where you found the info about drives being on the dashboard so it can be corrected?

Yes I am on my phone though so next time I am on my laptop I will link it to this forum. There is a chance I just read it on an old forum poSt somehow and remembering wrong but I'll find out. Either way, thanks for the response!

Also since I have your attention you may be able to answer a quick question... I know waze has to learn the best route by taking different roads from point A to point B (the two points being the same start and end destinations) but how quickly can this pick it up and will it send you on multiple routes before finding the best one? (like 5 or more).

I've gotten to a point where it will send me on the same route starting from point A to a Main Street that runs paraell to the street I live on (point B). however there are many intersecting streets connecting the two and it seems to have been sending me down a different one every time the last 3 nights.

sorry for the late reply... http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Time ... ng_process
if you go to the "your routes" section 'my dashboard' is hyperlinked to an old format, I assume.

http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/My_Dashboard .. I guess that's the page

Go to the support page at www.waze.com/support and type in 'empty dashboard' or 'dashboard and drives are empty'
The answer should appear, as you are likely on the wrong server.

The scoreboard should be visible in the client, but depending on your score, you might not appear on the top 50 list.
Your name should appear last after the list as well, indicating your actual standing.

The dashboard is at either www or world.waze.com/dashboard but the link to the scoreboard was removed. You can still access it at www or world.waze.com/dashboard/scoreboard.

Individual Drives are only visible in the editor.

The option that indicates Waze learns your favourite routes is actually incorrect. It will learn the frequent destinations, not the actual routes, as these might vary due to traffic.

The normal suggestion is to travel the weird suggested routes a few times so that Waze may build up stats and realise that they are not actually faster than your normal routes.
