Unfortunately, given that Timbones is based in the UK, I suspect we're still a while before the new system is implemented -- "Places" only went live on the NA server. The ROW and IL servers are still a few weeks away, apparently.
I hope Tim will choose to reimplement that feature -- I really liked it, especially for finding smudges being caused by landmarks. We will have to see, though!
As now v.1.6 is now in all servers, Timbones, can you please redesign the feature "Highlight Places" to see places in more colors? Thank you!

Feature request:
Highlight non-live changes. There is
another open-source script that shows when the last map tile update was (polls status.waze.com), but it would be awesome if we could get highlights on which segments have an updated/created date after the last map tile change. Would be super helpful with UR follow-ups.

Any news on an update? It won't load in WME most of the time now (takes several refreshes to get it to come up) and when it does, still has the issue of really ramping up CPU usage.

If I get you correctly, you don't need those. In Validator you can simply click search tab and then put a username(s) into "Updated by" field and a date into the "Updated since" field, so it will highlight the issues.
To highlight everything you can put 1 into a custom template and /1/ into the RegExp.
The 'Updated by" field is available for country managers only.

Should work already, or it use to. Haven't tried it in awhile, but find an area that has a segment with wrong state, open city search box and the suggestion should include the one with the wrong state.

Can you add "Canal" to the blue category?

There is a new yellow color (#f0ea58) on Primary roads at WME. Hue of yellow is more vivid and collide with "Filter by City (Yellow)" option inside the script. It is hard to find differences between marked segments and Primary roads.
