Revert to older version. V 3.6 will turn off when running in background for longer time.phullbrick wrote:Hi when I ride on my bike I used to launch waze then turn off my phone and put it in my jacket pocket. It worked very well and I got the audio messages. The main advantage was to have the screen turned off and save battery life. Since a recent time, if I do this, waze just turn off.
Is there a way to keep Waze running when the phone screen is turned off ?
Thanks!
I use current beta on OneX usually no problems with stability (depending on particular beta release)z37a wrote:I have a HTC One X, and the same problem, when I start the application it closes, I find no record, try uninstalling some applications and enhancements, but did not work.
I found out my 4sq SU request was declined because of checkin through 3rd part apps like waze.usa_sldgjple wrote:The loss of the foursquare check-in is pivotal to me. Without it, Waze has lost much of it's functionality for me.

When I'm navigating somewhere, whenever I reach a point within about a quarter of mile from my destination I get a popup saying that I've lost the GPS signal. Then about a few seconds later it disappears and all is normal with no actual interruption of navigation.
I saw a few other posts on the subject, but they were all posted last year and nothing else current.
Code: Select all
GPS.Show coordinates: yes
If you hit the 'back' hard button it should restore view.foxitrot wrote:Yesterday I've seen the map not being 'centered around the car symbol'. Although the map view was weirdly rotated (some 100 degrees clockwise), the aiming circle remained hidden. I've seen this already many times.
