I would really love to use waze on my new WP8 (htc windows phone 8s)

I loved it on my android phone but as wp8 looks so much nicer im sure waze would work and look great on this.

Hopefully sometime during my 2 year phone contract i will be using waze

Now that waze has published a version fo BB10, its even more obvious that the reasons they gave for not releasing a WP8 version were bogus. (After all, how many BB10 devices are out there?)

So how about getting the WP8 out finally? It cannot be that complicated, everybody and his brother are releasing maps/gps software for WP8 already.

Tell this Mr Steve Apache Ballmer. ;)

Iirc, MS has invested a considerable amount in Waze, so it's not that that far-fetched to expect another funding for the client.

Best regards,

Detlev

Don't think about BB. The client for the old OS is outdated, and there is no announcement of a client for the new OS.

Well, from the last post:

"Please create a native app for the BB10/Z10! The existing one (port) is a bit sluggish and buggy sometimes. I would use the app more if it was smoother, faster, and less apt to crash/hang."

I would not make a purchase decision based on this ported app.

If your company buys BB10 and allows the usage of these ported apps, it's the only option. But if you get to decide your phone brand, don't count this app as a pro factor for BB 10.

Best regards,

Detlev

Use the email from your MS-live-ID in the personal details of your centercode-account. Waze feed the live-ids of the betatesters into the appstore to grant you the permission.

Waze development is now focused on iOS and Android only. They do not have the man power to simultaneously develop for other platforms at this time.

Luckily for you Window Phone is growing so there is a chance that they will find a way to support it in the future. Unfortunately for you, you may be on to a different phone by then.
