Most users did not follow the suggested route?

Has anyone else seen a mass influx on these auto generated reports?

It's like either some sort of server error, or the addresses(gps locations) are off and the user is ignoring the route. I have about 150 of these visible in my editing area in Colorado.

Edit, maybe an editor/server problem. When I move the map around, sometimes they disappear? I'm confused. lol

Ignore them all. Not real problems, 99% of them.

The vast majority is old, old data.

I took a look along I-70 east to the state line. I disabled the handful of ramp-to-ramp turns that were enabled.

I just got one based on old data as well. Users were ignoring a road that hasn't existed in over a year.

but ... that's a different kind of old data. If Waze is trying to send people over a road that hasn't existed for a year and WME complains that users are NOT taking it, that means Waze is wrong. (If WME complains that people were taking a NEW road it doesn't know about, that's a problem to ignore.)

No?
I'm not entirely sure. What I know is that about 75% of all the reports I'm getting are these types and I can't find any problems for 99% of them. Either they are old data or something else is quite wrong. I'm hoping it is old data.

I'm seeing an explosion of these MPs and it isn't making much sense other than the routing algorithm is screwed up. Many are routing down small lanes that are, apparently, completely the wrong direction. Of course we don't see the whole routes or destinations but some are blatantly incorrect.

And, then, there is this one: https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... s=33669360 where the route coming from the South on the Albany Post Road turns left AGAINST the one way highlighted. That segment was last updated on Feb 18 so either we are looking at really old data or routing is really messed up.

I'm not running any scripts but I went and redid the turns at all three junctions. Maybe that fixed it?

Most of these are old, already solved, probably reappearing as a result of the DB rollback.
