Congratulations to all Waze employees and management from all of us here, in the oldest Wazer community of them all, here in Israel.
It is very pleasing to see such innovation rising from a small Israeli community project to become a worldwide recognizable success.

We hope you will keep the Waze community spirit living inside Google, and keep improving Waze for us all.

Congratulations.

I hope this is a step, not the finish line.

Nothing practical will change here at Waze. Waze will maintain our community, brand, service and organization – the community hierarchy, responsibilities and processes will not change. The same Waze people will continue to collaborate with you, and we will continue to innovate our product and services, making them more social, functional and helpful for everyday drivers. Our employees, managers, founders and I are all committed to our vision for many years to come.

I hope instead that things can change for the better

I have so many questions to ask, but maybe not the right topic

good luck

I hope this change the way you share some informatiins.
At the moment you got 1 billion of $ and we loose the bing aerials.
I hope G share with us their better aerials than Bing.
I hope G force you to give more support to our needs, like answers to questions still alone, unanswered.

They change nothing and let waze compete with their own navigation?

In short, they throw money away?

Well I think this is a game of shareholders.
Earn lots of money.
Nothing wrong with that. If waze thinks that everything stays the same?

Forget it.

Yep! I think this is the story.
I hope Ehud & Co will be so smart to explain us the real situation.
I don't like lose my time in something virtually dead

mmmm, in Italy I seen GE aerials better than B only on a big cities. The rest of the country have no accurate and precise images... then... I will continue to look at B to understand the junctions, cause the Wme's zoom is not working :(

This really is great news! I think Waze and Google will be much better as partners instead of competitors.

A couple of thoughts on that: 1) Waze rocks inside cities while Google rocks a lot more on long drives and inter-city travel. Merging the capabilities there would make a formidable nav app 2) I think Waze can learn a few things from Google Navigation's main screen layout and 3) Many of Google's landmarks (at least in India) are inaccurate, but they're there. They could be made more accurate thanks to Waze's editors.

All in all, very excited about the future.
Wazers, keep on Wazin'!
