Maybe you should edit that to remove the cookie part that has USERAUTH

Me no hacker. Maybe you know it's safe. I'd be worried about my password.

Thanks for catching that.
I should have said, and I'm saying it now. Change your password. Replying on time, and the kindness of strangers is like security through obscurity. People get these forum sent by RSS feeds.

Change your password. I'm sure you know that, but I'd kick myself for not saying it. And something bad happened.

Oh, :o Never mind then.

My bad. My attempt at a joke. Sorry. And I dodn't even know if the cookie stores your password, although maybe someone could use your cookie to log in as you. Dunno. Better safe than sorry.

I fear I'm cluttering up this thread. Yo nenver know if The Fej will come back, and say everything is sorted. But here's a copy of an email sent to alpha@waze.com

Copy of an email sent to Omer:

Dear Omer

The post from The Fej is a classic example of not keeping the users informed. Here in this thread:
http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... =20#p48106

He says that Waze has been working on it all day (it's been a problem for over 30 hours at this point). And apart from @Krankyd saying they can't reproduce it and asking for a debug log (24 hours after first problems), we were given no information.

If you've been working on a problem all day, how about a message saying so?

I'd even go so far as saying: If you're about to do a server upgrade please say so, and you can ask us to report any problems.

It's not professional and it frustrates people. And it's so trivial to fix. Even just a quick note on http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Waze_Service_Status - a 2 minute job - and people would learn to check there, and you'd get a lot more understanding and love.

Regards

Super awesome response. I love what you guys do. Brim over with
sympathy. Sorry to hold you to a hard standard, but I think it's for
the good of everyone. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing with everyone. I do think carefully about what may be called Open Letters. Do tell me if I have crossed a line.

As of now on the World server I can add and remove junctions, delete roads.

But I cannot create roundabouts.

Waze has never allowed you to create a roundabout of less than 5.

And I don't think you should be making them that small. It's not the size of the roundabout circle in the middle. It's from the centre of the roundabout to the centre of the lanes of the roundabout.

The correct size for this roundabout is 10.
