A farewell to jonypony

Hi guys,

We’d like to inform you that Yonatan (aka jonypony) will no longer be our Australian community manager and in charge of the direct access forum.
We’d like to wish him luck and only the best in his future endeavors.

Our new Australian community manager (well, actually, not so new :-) ) is Amit (aka amitbena).
Amit has been with us for the past 4 years, and has played an important role in Community & Support team.

Until recently, Amit led the Israeli community while dipping his toes in many global community-related issues.

We’re happy to have him in this new role and we are confident that together we will do great things!

Hey All!

As Shirli mentioned, I'll be in charge of the Australian community.

A few words about my self:
Just turned 31 (last weekend..) and married + 1 (a dog who is a rank 6 local AM of my house...).
I'm part of the Waze family for almost 4 year now.
Started as a Map-team member and learned a thing or two about editing (and prehistoric editing in the cartouche...), and joined the community and support team when established.
In the past year I was in charge of the Israeli community among other team projects.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you and working with you all,
and continue creating amazing things!

Hi guys, though we are currently welcoming Amit here in this thread, I'd like to drop a little note on the initial Topic title:
A farewell to jonypony
Just had PM-contact with Yonatan, obviously his replying to all messages having been sent to him yet (clearing the electronic table ;)).

So if you want to drop him a note for farewell personally, you can still do so via PM. But better be quick, don't know for how long (we didn't mention that, so I really don't know - not just a figure of speach).

OK, hope you don't mind the interruption, please continue to make Amit feel welcome :!:
