The orange message-sign appeared but it was empty...

Batterie is a Problem in iOS too. But this is Not a matter of waze, but of the poor batteries and the big screens in our devices. Turn the screen off. This will extend your batterie time.

I think this is Not a matter of the iOS, but of the segments.
Try to post this in the Italian forum.
Including a permalink. Because with those coordinates it's more than difficult to find that road

No. Don't worry about that.
Data is not only uploaded when shutting the app down. Data is submitted AFAIK all the time. It was said, that you should stop the app by using the shut down button - so that all the driven data will be submitted correctly (I mean the last miles) And not by the home button...
Just use the "sleep" button now. It's not a big difference...

Hi, i am thinking about waze map editor ipad app.

I don't use this forum often, so had created a seperate thread for this, but I think it belongs in here.

I have found that over the last month or so the only time the road in the app will change color is when I report traffic. The road will be it's normal color and only change to orange or red when I make a report, otherwise looking at my route...there doesn't appear to be that much traffic. I can see that there are other reports of traffic by the little symbol, but the road won't be a "traffic color" so I assume the traffic isn't that bad....WRONG.

I used to be able to see up ahead how bad the traffic is, by either scrolling up ahead along my route to see if the road is red, or when I navigate to a destination, the little route box would show any reports and stretches of road that are yellow, orange or red. But if the road-color only changes when I report the traffic, the app isn't really helping me to avoid the heavy traffic.

Has anyone noticed this as a change, it seems to happen every time I report traffic now, which in NJ is very often. It's annoying that when I make a report, a few miles will all of the sudden turn red. I would have liked this information before I made the report.

Any insight or help or knowledge of possible fixes coming down the pike?
