poslednej odrazke asi dobre nerozumiem. nevysvetlis, co tym myslis?

ak by sme pouzili pedestrian/walking trail, tak to bude v klientovi viditelne slabo (na com vsak pramalo zalezi), no uz sa nebude dat valcovat (lebo klient bude pripnuty na existujuci segment).

avsak ani v ramci Experts fora sme nenasli dokonale riesenie. respektive vsetci vieme, ze uvedeny workaround s walking trail je najlepsie dostupne riesenie, no na druhej strane by sme nemali ohybat mapu aby sme riesili nedokonalosti Waze... sme tak trochu v slepej ulicke.

ja osobne vidam vyvalcovane zeleznice relativne zriedkavo. ak by to malo byt casto, tak v momente presadzujem nasadenie toho workaroundu. hawkh

ci pedestrian alebo walking trail je asi jedno, v Beneluxe pouzivaju walking trail a su s tym spokojni.

Benelux setup:
segment type = Walking trail
street = "railroad"
level = -5 (vyznam tohto mi unikol)
lock L5
zrusene junctions s cestnou sietou

In this way, you keep locked to the 'railroad' if a wazer is using waze in a train. So nearby segments data is save, railroad is visible with a tiny line in the app, paving won't happen much anymore and less automatic MP's.

If roadtype 'railroad' will ever change, it's pretty easy to change all walking trails with the name 'Railroad' in a certain country to railroad in the DB.

to pomenovanie je dolezite, keby sa nahodou podarilo rozumne implementovat railroad segmenty v klientovi, aby sa dali vsetky walking trails kde ((country = "Czech Republic") a (street name zacina "ČD ")) jednoducho hromadne prepnut z walking trail na railroad zasahom na DB urovni.

Jednoznačne. Skús sa tiež spojiť s autorom scriptu, nech tam zapracuje cz/sk časť od teba, nech to nemusíš dorabat do novších verzií.

urcite minimalne 4, je kopec AMov, co na forum nechodia (pre SK mozno aj 5, bo mame aj L4 uzivatelov, co na forum uz nechodia), aby to nedavali naspat na railroad.

teraz som sa trochu stratil. ale to je fuk. rozmyslal som nad tym workaroundom a aj nad tym, co s tratou blizko cesty.
ono ked ten kus co ide popri ceste nechame ako railroad a klient (appka) o nom tym padom nebude vediet, realne hrozi, ze budu wlazeri (ako vlakovi wazeri :D) generovat MP 'segments are not connected or are too far away' v momente ked sa ich klient odlepi od railorad WT a prilepi na najblizsiu cestu...
podla fwazing, by pouzit WT workaround pre zeleznicu prave pri dlhych subeznych segmentoch nemusel byt problem..

prepnime na WT nejaky kus zeleznice blizko frekventovanej cesty (kde je vela udalosti) a Guri nam o mesiac odreportuje kolko reportov bolo pripnutych na tu WT. Pristavny most je idealny kandidat. takze by som to rovno skusil na ZSR 132:

Cyklotrasu C mám na pamäti, no vidím jeden zásadný rozdiel. Železničný segmen je vyrazne dlhší a nemá junctions tak blízko cestnych junctons ako cyklotrasa. Chcel som to len otestovať. Možno po týždni by sme to vyhodnotili a stopli, ak by boli výsledky moc zlé.

po rekategorizacii na WT sa priemerky street segmentov znormalizovali (predtym 100+ km/h, kvoli rychlovlaku na danej trati)

After changing the segments to walking trail the segment speeds of the parallel roads have decreased drastically from 100 km/h to normal within 2 months or less. I have deleted a few parallel roads and added them again to the map to check the munching process, it took about two months until they have been munched. I was even travelling by train to check the routing and if it would be sticky. It depends on train category... a regional train stops more so it is possible that waze jumps around at a station which causes rerouting. But mostly it was sticky depending on GPS and the situation nearby. Then modern train bad reception, older train better reception... electric powerline, a lot of tunnels and mountains. Well, it's not perfect but the walking trail had stored speeds within a couple of days, it seems we have a few train freaks here.
Personally i think it has more positive than negative effects to (ab)use walking trails for this.
We already faced issues with reports pinned to walking trails instead of nearby roads
So far i didn't experienced this. but i can imagine that it happens.
