I agree. I am getting pink tiles and very long loading times.

The GPS points tiles, which load from the same etiles servers as the road layer, also load really slowly, but they do eventually load. Just FYI. (Just saying it's not a server can't be reached or isn't working at all error, but it does appear to be just about the creation and caching of the road layer images only.)

Now the road layer is loading. Looks good. They are loading really fast right now too. (Probably low user load.)

This is normal and has been like this for months. It is the aerial layer and is not related to the issue in this thread.

Since this issue is resolved, I'd like to quickly highjack it: does anyone else get the following if you try to click the Thanks thumbsup on @cmgurley 's last post? I tried and received the following more than once:

Sorry for confusing the issue. I've been getting the pink, broken tiles as well, but that's cleared up since the last post. Thanks for the patience with a newer user (me).
