No, the "left" indicated by the pavement markings is to turn onto Glover Ave, NOT southbound on Main Ave. That is what THIS ramp is for.

I respectfully disagree. The right and center lanes turn right onto Main St. The center lane is also a straight onto Glover Ave. The left is to turn South on Main Ave. Why have the straight through lane at all if the left is for Glover Ave?

From the perspective of someone driving through that intersection, Glover Ave is plainly straight ahead; so is the ramp albeit a delayed left turn.

I think the clear intention is that left means to turn south on Main. Right is to turn north on Main.

Turns onto sb Main should be permitted. I see no harm in permitting a turn onto the ramp (even for drivers who exited by accident).

But there is no way that the left turn lane is was built solely for drivers who get off the highway by mistake.

No, that ramp is for drivers exiting from the highway.
But there are other ways to arrive at this intersection. And these people have to be able to turn left to go south on Main.

They also need to go straight (and then bear left) to take the on ramp to get onto the highway.

This intersection has been updated to allow left turns from Creeping Hemlock onto Main, as they should
