To be honest I think it's a good suggestion.
There should be global weather warnings per regio.
Rain, Snow, Fog, Wind, low sun.

Perhaps, but in the mean time s/he can still report hazard and put in the description " Sun Glare" or other hazards that might not be in the list.
S/he certainly had time to report as a map issue, I would think s/he had time to report as "hazard w/description" too.

Replace that with a big landmark that says "biz.waze.com to advertise".

Done.

shawndoc wrote:Fun one today thanks to the conversation feature. Had a "Missing Street" error submitted in Southern Orange County with no description. When he replied to my request for more info, he wanted to let me know that the problem was he was driving on some back roads near a city 6 hours away, he made a wrong turn, and because his phone didn't have a signal Waze wouldn't recalculate his route. He also stated he wasn't exactly sure where this happened.

I hope, we see a lot less of these things since we have this conversation feature. ;)

Copeland's law has a corollary here in PA. If you are more than 50 miles from the border of Philadelphia anything a restaurant calls a cheesesteak will suck and resemble nothing like a Philly Cheesesteak.

I went to Cherry Hill for a convention and cross over to PA for the famous Philly Cheesesteak. I have yet to find anybody else's cheesesteak as good as the PA's. I gave up trying.....

Oh yeah, what were you saying...
