Also note that Waze apparently has some issues with re-routing. It will sometimes try to get you back to your original route even if that means a longer distance or time instead of routing you down the road you're on. I don't know if this can happen anywhere or only when you are on a lesser road type than the original route. For example, the new route being a Street and the original route being a Minor Highway. When this is the case, you'll tend to find that if you turn off navigation and then turn it back on, it will no longer try routing you back to the original route and will give you the fastest route instead.
