Search is completely borked today (at least on Chrome). I find it odd that with a problem as large as this should be, there is nothing on the status page about the Wiki.

No, seriously - when I posted that, I was getting nothing - nada, zilch, zero - on any search term I used on the special search page. I just went back to verify and take a screen shot for you, and it works now.

Wow, I'm batting 0 for 2 today....I guess I should give up and take that nap I've been fighting off.

I'm having problems with links to the Wiki redirecting to the main page.

Google search for "Waze wiki faq" takes me to this URL: http://www.waze.com/wiki/?title=FAQ
Which instead of taking me to the FAQ takes me to the main page.

When I click on the link to the FAQ from the main page it takes me here: http://www.waze.com/wiki/FAQ which displays:
The MediaWiki FAQ can be found at:

Typing in the search box on the top left takes me to a blank page with no search results.

Currently the Wiki is working fine for me.
They've changed something recently. Maybe an hour ago waze.com/wiki wouldn't pull up. You had to add index.php (or whatever it was).

Just tested it in Firefox:
- Search on top left still not working
- The FAQ is still missing

Doing a shift-reload causes the page to load without CSS.

The FAQ in the Wiki is still not coming up. Can someone with more Wiki-fu than me help restore it? I tried both the old bookmark I have for it, clicking on the link on the first page of the Wiki, and using Advanced Search (it doesn't come up). All fail.

Fixed the FAQ link on the landing page so it works (by making it a URL link). I'm guessing the problem is do to redirects not working? If so, it can be reverted back once they start working again. But I refer a lot of people to the FAQ, so its important that the FAQ link on the landing page works.

It's freaking me out. It keeps switching between three modes as I open new pages. I found if I insert index.php/ after wiki/ I can usually get an editable page.

Are they trying to move the wiki pages to a new directory? I keep getting messages like this at the bottom.

Code: Select all

Retrieved from "http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php?title=To_Do_lists_-_Country-State-Province&oldid=39225"
Anyone had direct contact with the mothership?

Getting a 404 error on the actual Wiki link from the main page

http://www.waze.com/wiki

And then we see the unformatted content on the same URL with the end forward slash

http://www.waze.com/wiki/

I do not believe this is on purpose, but something is definitely broken at the moment. I have sent a message to Jackson.
