Followed the steps to the letter, however I have nowhere to send the files :lol:

is there an email link or something? the link given for debug mode and obtaining files http://my.nanorep.com/widget/widget.html#account=waze&kb=623233&referer=&onloadquestionid=21538352 doesn't have anything but a 'send us the files' without a link :roll:

In the app: Menu->Settings->Help->Send logs

You do need to tell Waze (via email, support message, etc) that you sent the logs, the date and time (with time zone) and explain the issue to them.

I've escalated this to Waze. I remember, as does another US CM, that there used to be an address there. Will get the info updated as soon as we can.

Yep, did that part. there is specifics to the debug that can't be sent via the send logs (according to the link) and needs to be gathered manually and sent via a currently 'unknown' method. Thanks though, AlanOfTheBerg reported to Waze about it!

Did they update the page? I'm currently seeing at the bottom of the page:
Send us the files to support@waze.com and state in the subject "Missing Search"

Looks like they made some changes to the backend and searches are coming up again. I'll suggest anyone still seeing these issues follow the steps on the kb page and contact Waze support. They were really fast in replying to me.

I just experienced the dreaded "no search engine" bug in Waze. I deleted the app and am about to download again. This only happened on my iPhone 4 and not on my iPad. I still have the old iOS on the phone - not sure if that makes any difference or not.
