Someone once pointed out a UR in Boston that referred to a problem near Philadelphia. I was able to fix it based on the good description. Felt like a stud.

I very nearly submitted an unintelligible update request for this gem. Behold, the finest parking lot editing I have ever seen:

Or on Android either. I get this screen until I submit the report or cancel the report. Cancelling loses the gps input.

[incorrect]You can also just hit "Later" (or let Waze do it itself through the time-out) and then you just get a little icon floating on the side of the map until you are stopped and able to enter the details. When I see a UR like this, I assume the reporter didn't know about "Later" and explain it to them.[/incorrect]

My bad: Apparently this never did work for Map Issues, although it does work for Hazards and Closures among other kinds of reports. This is a weird omission, but evidently it is a long-standing feature request.

I wonder what the record is for the furthest UR, and fixed.

I found and fixed this in Dover, NH, 85 miles away from the problem it reports:

Problem: Duffy Drive in Boylston, MA is actually Duffy Road. please correct this.

Reported from Dover, NH? Wow, it is very unlikely that anyone with editing privileges for Boylston, MA and knowledge of that area would happen to be poking around in Dover, NH to even see this report and be able to do anything about it. Fortunately I live down that way, I'll take a look.

It's like making a 3-point shot from downtown. Waaaay downtown.

And another one today:

Problem:

incorrect judgement

I assume they were reporting the GPS coordinates not placing them on the correct road... but it still looks funny ;)

I want to see a pic of that. :D
