Mississippi Mapping Resources (UPDATE)
For new editors, the state of Mississippi has a whole host of data to assist us in editing in Waze.
Mississippi DOT Maps main page: (Updated Link)
http://mdot.ms.gov/portal/planning.aspx?open=Maps
County, City, and functional classification maps can be found at this link. There are also general highway maps and other project planning information here that can be useful for roads that are under construction, or were recently completed and not found in the published maps.
Mississippi GIS page:
http://www.gis.ms.gov/portal/home.aspx?
Really a secondary source, as it itself contains a number of errors in some of the more rural counties, but I found that it may have a number of streets missing from the DOT maps, in particular ones in newer neighborhoods.
