I've been trying on and off for weeks to update prices and earn some bonus points...but it has never ONCE worked for me.

And yes, every price being forced to end in .9 is bad. The difference between $1.011/L and $1.019/L probably doesn't seem like much to someone who isn't familiar with the Metric system, but for comparison, $1.011/L is $3.789/Gallon, and $1.019 is $3.792/Gallon. A not insignificant difference - almost 1c/L is more than enough for a person to pick 1 station over another, so the fact that Waze isn't respectful of the last digit is just plain bad.

But of course, if the feature doesn't work...what does it matter I guess.

I agree. UNABLE to update prices. Being able to enter the posted price is important. This is a key feature to gain critical mass. IMO.

Thanks Wazers!

What I wished for the gas prices feature is another GUI for the input of gas prices.
Now I have to input 16 digits for one station, even if the proce changes only for some cents.
My suggestion is:
After tipping on a price, it becomes zoomed (so you can see it better at a bad light) and a slider to change the price. ;)
best regards Alex ;)

Is there anything that can be done about stations that are gouging customers? Example - at two stations near the Orlando airport, all grades of gas are currently just under $6.00 per gallon. Just a block away in the other direction from the airport, regular gas is currently $3.459 a gallon, about the same as it is all over the county. By trial and error, I was able to work out that the highest price Waze would allow me to enter was $4.369 per gallon. I hope that's high enough to get the attention of any Wazers looking for gas in the area.

By the way, before I did the update, the price in Waze for both of these stations was $3.069. I have seen newspaper (or web) articles on these stations indicating that someone is monitoring public gas listings for the station and changing them when anyone enters an accurate price. Since I work around the corner from these stations, I'd like to see if I can at least get the correct price out regularly, but others have a much stronger incentive to report lower prices than I do to report the correct price, so it will be interesting to see if I can make a difference.

Here is an article on one of the stations. The other was built after this article, and has a similar name (Sun Gas).

Where can I ask for E85 flex fuel to be added for France ? We have about 300 gas station providing it but no way with waze to find them and/or update prices for this gas type. Most of all, on some station that offer it, people are replacing price of LGP with E85 so it's a bit disturbing

Ok, just got it. There's only 4 gas type possible in waze. That's quite a sad news to see limitations like this.

Well... I'm kinda glad it's not more... I have enough stress to enter those 4 prices while driving ;)
