The reimbursed points are not by country. There is a new round to come, for sure.

I'm going to speak out against this. I recognise that there's no change in the points earned from editing. However I really liked this element of Waze.

It provides some entertainment value and makes it seem like Waze has a "lighter" side. It also gives a secondary non-tangible reward: my first reward for editing is seeing a badly mapped area cleaned up, but the second is getting those candies the following day.

Finally, you have upset my kids, who like it when the candies appear. Direct quote from the youngest: "No, I want to keep the candies!".

With reference to your reasons given:

2) there should be more achievements that are not one-time achievements
3) if it's buggy fix it , don't get rid of it.

As discussed extensively elsewhere, we should be adding achievements for drivers, rather than removing achievements for editors (yes, I haven't forgotten there's no change in points earned).

Also having taken ages to type (as usual ;) ) I see Alan has commented before me - and I agree with that one as well.

So it looks like we're going from getting 3 points per edit (1.5 through WME and 1.5 through candies) to getting 3.5 points per edit (3 through WME and 0.5 through candies). Please don't do this.

If you want to play with the balance of points between WME and candies, I have no problem with it. If you want to award the candies less often by giving them a higher value, I'm fine with that too (although the kids won't see them so often  ).

What I'm not OK with, is giving more points to editors - or less for that matter. Recent discussions here showed messing with the points to be a contentious issue and the poll had a majority for leaving things as they are.

I think it's fair to say that there was a strong opinion wanting to see something added for drivers. I realise most of us here fall into the "editors" more than the "drivers" camp, but it's unfair to be giving editors more points whilst we still do nothing for the drivers who contribute to Waze.

There was a typo - already fixed. No update points will be lost, it's just a sync error with the dashboard.

Hello to all ,

My name is Inbar and I am from Israel .

We moved our winery about half a year ago and when you write the name of the winery on waze it takes you to the old place .
How do i change its location ?

Thank you ,

Although I can't relate to this because I am new here [ :) but I still appreciate the developers who made this happen.

This really helps a lot. Great job guys! Keep it up!

Hope to see more updates soon. :)

I agree with leaving the points as-is and focusing more on giving more candies/points to drivers to encourage more use. I feel that if there were move regular accumulation of candies (rewards for using the app) there would be greater use of the app. I'm in north east Texas and do not see a lot of Wazers on the map too often so I think this would be advantageous to focus more on additional rewards instead of taking them away and messing with the current point system.

I added a note to the Bonus Point template in the Wiki to reflect this is changing and current information is in the forums. Once we are sure this is all finished we can make the updates

the first step in the process is complete:
All edits from now are credited with 3 points. The candy is withheld.
In the upcoming days we will reimburse editors who didn't take all the candies with all the missing points. After it's done we will re-enable the candy with the new parameters - 300 points per 3000 edits. Regarding more gaming stuff for drivers - I informed the product team that there's a huge demand for this and they will check what can be done

I saw the note from that time, but since it changed a few times since the thread started I did not want to presume it was final. If the group believes we are done with those changes we can make it permanent. I have not been tracking my points in a long time, so I don't know if the bonus candies are being implemented yet. By that math is looks like you net 3.1 points per edit after you collect the bonus.

There needs to be greater incentive to solving UR's. It is quite time-consuming to attempt to contact the original reporter. However given that many metropolitan areas remain covered with orange and red balloons there seems to be little interest.
