I'm a new UK user and also cannot get into my dashboard. When opening the page https://world.waze.com as suggested in the support pages I get a blank page!

I cannot login using Safari on my iPad. After entering my login info, it just sits and spins.

I can login with Chrome on iOS with ease though.

Both Chrome and IE fail to load the dashboard. A fiddler trace reveals a response in the JSON reason=error reading user data
When it does a GET /WAS/profile HTTP/1.1

(still returns 200)

I definitely do not see the same in Chrome. The dashboard loads fine, even when setting another language as default from the main Waze page.
With Google Chrome Frame installed in IE 8, that also works as expected.

{2c} There are people using IE ? That's a bigger embarrassment imo... {/2c}

Same here, which is why I have IE 8 stuck on the machine - newer versions apparently break some functionality in web apps. I'm glad I do not use any of the apps that require that, but that's just my biased opinion.

Out of morbid curiosity, I uninstalled the Google Chrome Frame, and to my surprise it still worked fine and logged me in automatically whether I navigated directly to https://www.waze.com/dashboard or just to http://www.waze.com - that is untill I cleared all saved passwords and cookies.
In my case - Tools>Internet Options>General//Browsing History//Delete>checked 'Preserve Favorites website data' + 'Passwords' + 'Cookies' - as I do not have any Waze-related favorites in IE.

I then got the same issue again with the seeming never-ending loop for prompting for the login credentials when going to the Dashboard. The funny part is, close and re-open IE and once again you are automatically logged in & the Dashboard works fine with no Chrome addons.

It is likely the same behaviour where some part(s) of the Waze website does not automatically store credentials, as was also mentioned and experienced in 2012 with some forum shuffles & changes as mentioned in this thread.

Try closing & re-opening the site in IE after the initial login attempt to the site and see if that fixes it for you.

I have logged a ticket for this, referencing this thread, as it's likely not only IE that is affected. Most editors will surely use Chrome, Firefox or Safari anyway with old credentials saved already and will never experience this, but it's not only editors that have an interest in their dashboards.
New users will definitely be interested too and most probably be aggravated by the experience.
