It's difficult to update maps when...

Looked a lot like Birmingham to me.

IMO, a good way is to submit a Map "error" with Missing Road type. Provide the name of the road in the text. If where you are driving has an area manager, then they should pick up the request and update the road accordingly.

Alternately, since you have driven down this road, you have edit rights in the Update Map. Within a week or so of driving an area, you can update the road yourself directly in Cartouche (the Update Map).

Maybe you were out of GPS reception and WAZE used data from GSM cells. It's not correct always.

To name roads that you've found, select report-update map-update details. This will give you an open bar at the top of the screen to put in the name of the street.

Hope that helps.

Hi Bleary,

This is a very interesting case.
I've checked a couple of your last routes in our system, and most of them are in the UK.

In order to get to the bottom of the problem, we'll be happy if you will provide us more information:
Send us a screenshot of your archive and the wrong routes.
Send us some permalinks, of the area of the correct routes and the incorrect routes.
Do you remember the creation dates of the missing routes?
What kind of browser are you using?
Is there anyone else login into the WAZE website from the same computer?

Please send us all the information, and any more information that you think could be helpful to:

Alpha@waze.com

Regards,

Amit
