He's saying directions say to keep going when he has already reached his destination.

Address/POI error.

So this isn't based off a UR but I thought it was funny.

Yesterday I was driving north on Pleasantburg when I saw that Waze was highlighting it for 'slow traffic' (yellow.) It was warning me that the average traffic speed there was 39 mph.

The speed limit for that area is 40 mph.

Around here that would mean the average traffic was normally around 55 to 60. Traffic actually going the speed limit would be viewed by locals as a slow down.

I've noticed that there seems to be an unspoken state-wide conspiracy to go over the speed limit by exactly 7mph.

Exactly 7. It's uncanny. 90% of the traffic on the road is going exactly 7mph faster than the speed limit (assuming there's not too much traffic to do so.) Maybe about 7% of the rest going even faster, and 3% going less than 7mph faster. Only about 1% go the actual limit and less than that go slower.

It was so exactly similar to each other and so freakishly common that I thought my speedometer was 7mph off. Until the speedometer on Waze restored my sanity.

I'm pretty sure people around here just assume a speed limit isn't a law, it's a suggestion.

In most parts of the country people get a pretty good idea of at what speed the local police will start issuing tickets, and drive a few miles below that. Sounds like in SC the ticket speed is 10 over.

Yup. I'd pretty much come to that conclusion myself. But exactly 7 instead of a variance of 6-9, that's what I find so mystifying, lol.

And on top of that, I've noticed that the speed limits in SoCal are 5-15 MPH higher than they would be for equivalent type and condition roads in NorCal!

Don't know which of these users has the bigger problem:

Problem: doesn't tell me where to go

and then a few miles north of there:

Problem: stupid bitch tried to take me 8 miles out ta my way

I can solve the second one....don't know about the first one.....

Solution for the second one: change the voice to the male, then it wouldn't be a "stupid bitch" :D

On another note, Waze hasn't provided me with voice instructions over the last two days, so that could be related to the first one.
