22, 24 and 26 are double.

Peter, those duplicate house numbers are assigned to the different segments. For instance, the first number "24" is assigned to the segment 89337363 (link), but the second one is assigned to the segment 89337356 (link) In other words no promises on that at the moment.

I also noticed that those imported house numbers are marked with a null updatedBy field. So it is possible to report a street with/without imported house numbers. But there might be a significant amount of false reports (for instance, when house numbers were imported first and then updated by a user.)

The "report a named street with no house numbers" is doable. I guess I have to ask Oyyo to share house numbers from Toolbox to WMET, so we don't pull those numbers twice...

Okey, thanks! ;-)

A street without imported numbers report would be handy too, I guess.

Hey!
New major beta v0.4.1 is here. Please note it's called WME Validator now.
Please see new Validator forum thread.

Major changes:
- new feature: Highlight issues on the map (blue for notes, orange for warnings and red for errors)
- new feature: now you can validate the map by just panning around
- new feature: every reported segment has a wiki reference and "how to fix" instruction
- clickless start (all checks are on by default now) and other user-friendly interface changes
- few new reports (including dot at the end for US, but no house numbers yet)
- few new countries
- full list of checks at Settings->About->Available checks <-- please report any typos/mistakes

Download links:
Please see new Validator forum thread.

Love the reports, just one minor change a couple of requests :)

Australia is a left-hand drive country, so all of our roundabouts are backwards (B->A) which means the only ones not in the report are the broken ones ;)

Could we get a report for Major Highways with City Names on them, as well as activating the Freeway and Railway ones (we have no official guide for Railways, but I've had to remove some city names to fix smudges and this would make it a lot easier :) ).

And a report for U-Turns at the end of dead-end streets.

Also could Incorrect lock level for Freeways (Lvl 5) and Minor Highways (Lvl 3) be activated.

Major Highways in Australia are locked to Lvl 3.

Thank you again for such an excellent tool.

That would be great for the US as well. Not just enabled U turns, but also soft-disabled U turns.

Could we get a report for Major Highways with City Names on them

Please hold off on this one. Major Highways often have street numbers on them, and in some places the numbering restarts on suburb boundaries. Removing the City Name in this case means that street numbering in Waze becomes useless. (Not that it's used at present, but presumably the intention is to use it at some future time.) I think the "No City Name" rule hasn't been updated since Waze started implementing street numbers.

ituajr says to hold off on this?

The rest will be fixed/implemented.

Ok.

Thanks for the feedback!

WME Validator reports "Unneeded node" where a segment with an alternate street name joins another segment with the same primary name but with no alternate street name - ie, it appears to be ignoring the alternate name when checking to see if the segment names are identical. Merging these two segments would lose the information about where the alternate street name ends.

There may be more to it than this. It appears to be losing the alternate name in other situations, too. I get a report saying

Empty alternate street
What is the problem? Alternate street name is empty.
How to fix? Remove empty alternate street name.

No City
No Street, No City
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=5&lat=-34.9775&lon=138.52&env=row&segments=239326188

The alternate name isn't empty - it's "Brighton Rd, Glenelg East". Also, the identification of the street at the bottom of the report (ie, "No City, No Street, No City") is misleading - the street does have a proper name.

berestovskyy, just saw your WME Validator script (caught a link in the italian champs chat), and after a few minutes of tests I have only one thing to say: Chapeau! :-)

Very nice work. Thank you.
