Waze has basic level functionality validation with the Map Problems which have added more categories recently. We have seen a push more and more with important scripts to have a development team to help ensure more timely updates and protect against one editor going inactive. But this script is the authors intellectual property and he has a right to do with it as he sees fit. The author continues to support this script well beyond their editing career should be applauded. And I agree that scripts will more timely adapted for the evolving WME needs.

Validator has been a hugely valuable tool for the wme community. The efforts of a single editor have greatly contributed to a much more efficient editing experience. For this they should be applauded. They have also continued to support this script well after life priorities changed and they didn't have time for editing anymore. Again a huge thank you.
Howver I am happy to hear hints of a long term solution coming soon as the frequency this script has been breaking recently and patch work to keep alive shows the need for a more active maintenance approach. I look forward to what is coming soon

Hello,
I report an error on the category
BETA: No public connection for public segment (slow) (# 202)
https://www.waze.com/fr/editor/?zoom=5& ... =303803801
in this case the segment is well connected to a regular street

Hello,
error on : Noeud B: inutil (mode lent) (#37)
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=5&lat ... =304673455
there's a difference between the 2 segments : one is "unpaved" (checkbox)
it should not appear in the report.

Hello, same issue, i need to do multiple refresh for having validator available (editor normal version (no beta), chrome browser, editing in France)LysdexiaEht wrote:Validator more often than not fails to load.
DK204 wrote:Same here; Validator does not work with me anymore. Does not show up on the tab on the left, eventhough the script is running. Also the Extension for Chrome does not show any Validator in my Tab on the left side
you should install WME Fix Map Object script
this script is designed to allow "not modified" scripts to run with the actual version of editor
it's better to put this script in "first position" in tampermonkey
