The camera has a fixed speed set (80 km/h) which is not correct because it is a dynamic speed limit on that road, but regardless it should have raised an acoustic signal because my speed was way above 80km/h.
It's Hannover, Germany.
Here is the link but I am not sure if it will help. I recognized the same behavior on a speedcam I pass every day. I am always exact 10km/h over the speedlimit but I get notified only in 80% of the cases.

Thanks!

Hey, that's far away from Hannover, so unfortunately I can't test it.
There are some "known issues" with speedcams. One problem - it seems that Waze only tests once, if your speed is above the speed of the speedcam and if you're over, you get a acoustical warning. If you're accelerating after that point, there is no second chance...
There is a feature request for an option to turn speedcam warnings always on, Independently of the speed you're driving. Maybe you can support that -> viewtopic.php?f=657&t=71312&hilit=speedcam
Btw, if you live in Hannover, maybe we can continue the thread in german?
Is this similar problem you're talking about a speedcam near Hannover?corgold wrote:It's Hannover, Germany. ... I recognized the same behavior on a speedcam I pass every day. I am always exact 10km/h over the speedlimit but I get notified only in 80% of the cases.

well, the problem is now, that the approved camera is edited yesterday, so we cannot see the changes.
Factorial is that
- it is unusual landmarks to set for camera´s
- there is only 1 camera
- this camera is velocity dependent
- for trucks he also flashes when the speed is higher allowed (always 80km/h)
It is also to observe the one on motorways rather ignored the warnings, because it is louder and donating the traffic more attention. Me too
But we've also had defective cameras that simply did not work and had to be re-reported. If it does not help please report a new camera and describe the problem in a report.
You can post your problems always in this german-forum, i think we have enough individual topics...
Best regards, Thomas
