Due to other personal life requirements, I will not be able to sign up as a full mentor, but I may be able to help coordinate with the other Mentors on the Wiki Expert elements as time permits.

Very appropriate icon. I also added it to the Wiki page on forum badges.

I don't think we have a formal Wiki page for the program though.

I cannot speak as a new editor (too long ago for me), but I thought the purpose of Mentoring was the accelerate the rank process because the editor is being guided to good edits and then the reviews turn into simple approvals by the mentor. That seems like an advantage for new editors.

I updated the Badge table to show the three different badges for Mentors, but I cannot find anyone with the Local Champ status who is a mentor. If someone can tell me who has that badge, or if you already have the 63pixel version of the image you can upload it directly to https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... _Champ.png

I do believe that most beginning editors are not really community-engaged.
Is this inteneded to overcome that barrier in a more consistent way?
I think it's an excellent way to get the 'community-engaged' spirit in local editors.
Every, and I mean literally every editor I'm aware of in AZ right now is a result of Me or someone I have reached out to, reaching out to a new editor and getting them involved in our local AZ community. And as I've told them, editing is no longer a lone-wolf mentality, it's all about a local team effort.
