I'm having the same issue. I posted about it in the iOS feedback thread.

Are you sure to have a good gps fix inside Switzerland?

The prices do show up in Swiss Francs when you are in Switzerland. However as Geneva is geographically surrounded by France (see pic) it sometimes happens that when you are driving close to the border, the prices switch to Euros. This is something that we already know happens sometimes because of the particularity of the region. I don't know if there is much that the Waze staff can do about it.

ˆˆ Yes, I already toughed so.
Nothing much they can do.

I've talked with Orit about it, I think a year ago ;-)
I talked about her with some problems. But nothing has done about it, yet.

Sure they can. Just let them decouple the currency from the client's GPS position (and its proximity to some borderline, which is eventually defined as precisely as Waze coastlines and borderlines) and couple it with the "Country" value in particular GS landmark's (or be it place's) Address section.

Who ever got the blessing idea to bind the GS' currency to the client's GPS position, has always been beyond my understanding  The Waze localization is (not only) sometimes being driven to ad absurdum.
...with the good old crashing  Symbian 2.1.99.114 (N-E52), while
trying to get used to the good new social Android 4.0.xx.yyy (OP-X LOL-a-popp).

They should change the system for currency and prices from GPS position-based to be based on GS's address (which is already set in landmark). But it is a major change, so small chance they will do it soon...

I fully expect the fuel stations to appear on the map, not simply when I look for them. Is there any way to turn them on all the time?

You will see them if landmarks are big enough.

Recently Waze has added Gas Station prices as one of the crowd sourced features it offers

I'm not interested in crowd sourced gas prices.... do you actually "shop" for gas? Do you ever find such a deal that it makes a difference? 10 cents extra in a 14 gallon tank is $1.40. Big whoop. How far will you drive to save $1.40? (Don't tell me.)
