[STRIKE]Does a localization pack have to be installed the same way as Validator?

It's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong, but as a preliminary matter, should it be working if I have the localization pack installed in Tampermonkey but Validator installed from Chrome Web Store?[/STRIKE]

Actually, nevermind that. I figured out the problem, I had "130.enable" from an old forum post instead of "130.enabled" like in the example file.

Is there a way to change the severity of a custom check from Note? I don't see one in the Wizard example.

No messages were lost in this thread:
In original post click F.A.Q. and then Custom checks

Also I'll add a direct link from Validator to that message in the next version.

Would it be helpful to fork the custom check (regex) discussion into a separate thread, and have your easy/medium/hard examples be the top sticky? I think there could be a lot of great exploration into how to use complex regex checks and not have to bog the main thread down with all of that discussion. what do you think :?:

If you don't mind having them in green or blue, you can use a custom check:
Template: ${softTurns}
RegExp: /1/

I'm just used to having all soft turns highlighted in yellow, and unneeded nodes in blue. Having soft turns in blue throws me off bigtime. I'll get used to it I guess!

Sorry, I misled you. Severity is not a per-country, but a per-language property, just like check title etc.

So at the moment you need to switch WME to Spanish, generate localization pack with translations and add the line:
Code: Select all
"200.severity": "warning",

I'm not sure why you need those notes as a warning, but I guess you'd like to hide all the notes. If so, please also consider the following option.

Click Search tab and in the "Reported as" field put the following:
Code: Select all
200,300,!note,*

Means to highlight/report #200, #300, skip other notes and highlight/report everything else.

In Latvia we have streets like: 11. novembra krastmala; 13. janvāra iela... They are highlighted with #173 No space before ('1943r.') or after ('st.Jan') an abbreviation in the street name.
As I understand this is because of "11. " or what? Please add exclusion for numbers in streets or something. Correct name of streets are as shown. "number" "stop" "space" "text"

You are a wizard, thanks! I updated it to search up to the first 10 alternate names, and after some very quick testing it seems to work as expected.

Template:
Code: Select all
@@${altCity[0]}##${altStreet[0]}@@${altCity[1]}##${altStreet[1]}@@${altCity[2]}##${altStreet[2]}@@${altCity[3]}##${altStreet[3]}@@${altCity[4]}##${altStreet[4]}@@${altCity[5]}##${altStreet[5]}@@${altCity[6]}##${altStreet[6]}@@${altCity[7]}##${altStreet[7]}@@${altCity[8]}##${altStreet[8]}@@${altCity[9]}##${altStreet[9]}

Regexp:
Code: Select all
/@@##[^@]/

Alright I tried that, but it isn't working. Probably my non-coding-self doing something wrong.
I get that it needs to look like this:

"300.severity": "warning",

Where does it go though?
