I've contacted txemt about this issue affecting me as well in PR, I also noticed it's been happening in HI as well so I believe this is a localization issue. I've received response from Twitter so I believe they should be working on it hopefully. I'll keep you guys posted on any updates.

Lots of us (if not all of us) here in Puerto Rico have had this issue for almost a month, Waze claims to have identified the issue and a fix should take no longer than next week, hang in there until next week if that fix applies to you as well. I will signal as soon as I see a fix over here, if not following up with them.

Is this in Hawaii, because Puerto Rico and Hawaii has the same issue. I received an email response from Waze that they are working on it, my hopes is that once they identify and fix the issue, it will be fixed for Hawaii as well, as I believe this is a localization issue.

I see the connection in the way that we both are on North America servers but not adjacent to the states, I noticed that in the Virgin Islands as well there is no visible activity. They are part of the US but not adjacent to the main land. Now on the ROTW servers I can even see our neighbor's activity, those that are not part of US, so I believe there is son sort of mixup in how the servers react to US territories and non contiguous states. Idk if Alaska has Wazers but I certainly don't see any activity there either.

About the reports you see from Puerto Rico, when was the last time this happened? this may be a clue to what the problem is and it might be productive to forward this to Waze.

Yeah, nothing new there, PR and HI are on the same boat. Today they told Fred via Twitter that they're still working on it. Today I had a bad experience with road closures, since they don't stick, Waze still thought I could go on that road and rerouting was hell to work out. I have my eye on this situation, it's pretty bad, trust me, I'm on this everyday.
