Had an issue today where Nyes Rd because "N-Y-Es Road". Also had a UR where S Bailey Rd was pronounced "S" instead of "South".

When was the UR for the S Bailey Rd from? We recently had a briefs period where those abbreviations weren't working, but it has been fixed now. Can you please also give us a permalink to the UR so we can check it.
Nyes should be pronounced like the Y is an I: "Nies" or the same way you pronounce Bill Nye.

Here's the permalink to the UR for S Bailey Rd: https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... st=4566186

New TTS fix: Elysburg is pronounced as "El-lies-burg". Should have a long 'e' and sound more like "eel-ies-burg". Thanks!

Can you provide a sample where this appears in segment name please?
To me it sounds like Ellis-burg
You're right, it did sound like Ellis-burg. Here's a good test segment. https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... s=42802585

I'll try to test this issue more to resubmit it AGAIN to Waze.

The two other strange issues mentioned earlier are still not submitted to them, as testing has been tenuous at best lately with the ongoing zero byte TTS file returns as many of you have noticed in the beta clients.

Initial tests are not confirming the problem:

http://www.gizmoguy411.com/Waze/TTS/New%20Jersey%20Tpke N.mp3

Could you provide segment Permalinks so they can also be tested?
After just clearing my TTS (cc@tts) again I'm still hearing "... Parkway enn" at this on ramp to the Bronx river parkway.

I believe there are others as well if you need more PLs, I can try to find them again.

Hi all -

First off, great work @gizmoguy. I've been following this forum and cleared my cache as advised above. Here is another example of the "Enn" error getting on to the NJTpke over here. Id imagine a lot of these ramps would produce the same pronunciation.

Cord St near Middle River, MD is pronounced as "County Road" in TTS.
Reporter on July 31, 2014
The text to voice says "county road street"
I'm aware that "Co" (and "CR") is pronounced "county", and "rd" as "road", however I didn't know it would parce groups of letters in the middle of a word (not separated by a space).

Have an issue where Jane pronounces "Belcamp" as "Belcamps" (plural) according to this UR and verified by me.

Affected Ramp segments here.
