Thank you Alan for your answer. At least I can let W8 do its regular update and machine reboot. Let's hope we get more stable environment with every new server - if landmarks could be the culprit for saving errors that waste our time, especially in case of adding/connecting new segments onto the older ones (2012 and older). Being forced to saving every 5 edits is really waste of time, especially in urban areas where you easily reach 100+ edits without even noticing it. Every upgrade is welcome.

It would have been more helpful if the error reason was used in the editor.

I would also support that idea. Or at least - to notify us, most WAZEholic editors (3 cones+) in case of tectonic shifts in advance - by email. Costs nothing and saves time and unnecessary work to most of us.

I don't think so. I updated 4 gas prices earlier today. It's gone through smoothly. Sometimes it happens it just doesn't. Usually networking issues. It would succeed 1 minute later.

Thank you guys, I love what I see. Besides new landmark classification and categorization, there are new dots, new colors and some new features in editor, well done. Chrome is a bit crashey at the moment - hope it will pass soon. Many thanks again to developers and testers.

Hi all!
I'm looking through the new Places mechanics, but I don't see a category choice for Apartment complexes? By default, "Apartments" under the old Landmarks system seems to have been converted into Other: Residence/Home and Construction Site. And according to the wiki, the Residence/Home category should NOT be mapped at all!
So what should be done for such apartment complexes?

There's nothing stopping you from editing, except you can't add, modify or delete Landmarks.

Pink! Interesting choice. On my screen at any rate. And unsaved modifications are also pink.

I hope the time expected to complete the process is the same of NA server...
