No web application should be able to crash your computer with a bluescreen, as the kernel and the drivers are isolated processes. Since Chrome uses graphics acceleration, it is probable that your graphics driver is faulty.

I would suggest to

a) Check the bluescreen-data. Usually, the displaydata (address, errorcode, faulting module) gets logged into the eventlog of the machine. Google the faulting module name, it's probably a part of the graphics driver.

b) If you find which package the faulting module belongs to, look for a new driver.

However, this is beyond the scope of this thread. Sorry Oyyo

Same here: WME Toolbox plugin is loading with 1.1.7 loader in Chrome.

My issue.

Supposed solution. This was installed when I got that error message. I haven't been able to edit with Safari or Chrome. I've been able to do limited editing in Firefox. I'm running Mac OS.
