So wait and see ! :D
It hasn't worked for months on firefox. I get the impression that there isn't anyone working on it at all. I could be wrong, but we could be waiting a very long time.

First I learned how to draw lines on a map. Now I must learn the art of Feng-ShWaze.

It worked fine for me in Firefox until the recent WME update. Now, because of the interface change, there are no controls available. But it still marks red roads, loops needing a node, and revcons (and perhaps others) at close zoom levels. So it's not totally useless, if you had it set to mark those items before losing the controls.

And others have noted that the author hasn't been around in a while, so you may be right about it being orphaned.
I think all of those alerts are in Toolbox rather than Validator.

In the same thought though it's pretty obvious that they don't edit the map ever either.

Is this a good place to share WME validator custom scripts and Regex Expressions?

I have been fighting an area of basemap recently and discovered that many of the segments have a blank elevation. I don't see this covered in any tools, and the regex required was a bit surprising.

Just be sure you're not talking of the WME display bug, which makes elevation data sometimes not being displayed after editing a segment. A reload then usually brings back the elevation.
I have heard that there was a bug at one point that would actually save blank (null) into the DB. It will pick up both the real errors and the display bug. If you have just fixed a segment, it will display wrong. This is most useful for finding problems in an are that you have not started on yet.

elevation is blank ${elevation} /^null/

Elevation Not ground is ${elevation} /!0/
