I deleted roads for 30 minutes the other day in a nearby city where someone had mapped every path a plane could possibly take through the airport, even the luggage handler tunnels and paths were all marked. All with pretty little turn paths etc. Ugh. Everything was meticulously labeled too, almost made me feel bad.

Click, delete. Repeat until done. I hate when nubs make parking lot landmarks in every possible place you could park a car. I actually saw someone create some on the side of a street once. I PMed them, heard nothing back, but happily never saw it again.

I came across a small parking lot with every lane drawn in. No problem, I thought, just a bit overenthusiastic; I'll delete a lane or two. I clicked on it, and...

Behold, the single-segment parking lot.

Although I'm guessing Israel considers it Google's now.
Look at the name of the Inventors - All waze's.

Regardless, "soon" did not come quick enough. There are multiple apps that offer this information already. The concept is different as its not using "estimated time" but isnt real time data better? Gotta love the bidding ones :D

I have no idea what you are saying. Google bought Waze.
It was simply an observation. I believe we are on the same page..

To expound, yes, obviously Google bought Waze and all that it encompasses - technology, intellectual property, patents etc. But at least for the time being Google is keeping Waze as an "independent company". Google owns it, but they have no reason (for now) to remove the patent from Waze's staffs hands. Additionally, the patent and its claims directly correlate to the Waze style app of crowd-sourced GPS data from mobile devices. So the fact that this, as well as all other patents originated/invented by the Waze inventors is still assigned to Waze Mobile LTD. (and not to Google Inc.) actually makes perfect sense.

Time to lock down main roads and intersections? Has it come to this? I don't recall what Towson Circle's segments looked like before, and I can't imagine what this level 1 editor had in mind. I'll send them a brief PM and link to this forum message. :?

Maybe we should ask for a UR on "open parking spot". If you see one in a busy lot you can report it and then watch for the Wazers to fight it out.

Too bad the satellite images aren't real time!
