So don't use it. Doesn't bother anyone. The feature's already been there for well over a year, so I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish.

I can regularly save 8-10 cents a gallon by driving an extra quarter mile or so – and that's just for 87. For someone who uses premium, prices can vary wildly, as different stations around here use very different markups.

When updating fuel prices, the decimal (or comma) separator is no longer required.

10 cents extra in a 90 liter tank is €9,- ($12,25)
For me it's worth driving a bit further.

Considering the success of GasBuddy's website and apps, millions do shop for cheap gas daily. It all comes down to how fuel is priced in your area, and what type you're using.

Just within 5 miles of where I live, regular unleaded can vary by as much as 24¢ a gallon. That's over $7 difference to someone with a 30 gallon tank in a big gas guzzling SUV. As sketch noted, premium is even wilder. The spread here is over 45¢ a gallon. Unfortunately, it and midgrade are the least reported prices on any system.

I drive a diesel and prices for that fuel can vary as much as premium. I know who has what at what price in my town, generally, but I still post prices on Waze and GasBuddy because I want to help others who may not know cheaper fuel is a few blocks away.

I do wish the implementation on Waze was better, though. If you update just one price, all old prices are updated when you hit Send. The midgrade and premium prices at some local stations are months old because no one is going on to the property to look at those prices. They (we) just update whatever's posted on the sign out front.

When driving a longer way you can choose the cheapest along the route without driving anything extra. Every cent counted in such case.

First - a problem with gas reporting should be fixed, otherwice it is very often prices are obsolette and don't show the real gas prices.
There is the huge bug in application, you can report anything, except gas prices.

Problem description (3.8.1.0, Samsung Galaxy S2):
- Report - Anything but gas prices - works ok with no problems
- Automatic pop-up window "Looks you are on gas station - update prices" - works ok
- Report - GAS prices - mostly you get the error "No GPS found"

It is really annoing!!! PLEASE FIX IT!

P.S. since you have no "Report application bug" or "Write to developer" option - i write it there in topic.

I try to update all of the stations on my route, but I have noted there are several stations in my area that I pass only every week or two that haven't been updated in over amonth.

Gas price function is not finding any stations for me today or yesterday.
Even while I am at station putting gas in my car.
