General error (user reported)
Problem: wrong street name
Reported on: March 23
Oh, goody, a guessing game. OK, I'll rename the street to "Clueless User Dr", and if that's not right, you can post another UR tomorrow.

Spil, stop injecting common sense into our fun!
Anyway, the UR balloon was on US Hwy 50, a road that I am familiar with and I am sure it is indeed US Hwy 50. If the driver was complaining about one of the neighboring roads, he/she didn't say which one it was. Another guessing game!

I swore to myself I wasn't going to post on this thread any more, but...
Wrong driving direction (user reported)
Problem: There is no walmart here

Some people would not consider that a problem.

I have seen a fair number of URs of this general type; it seems that some users believe that "operators are standing by" and they will get an immediate response to their problem, or perhaps a custom re-route.

The introduction of conversations, now in beta testing, creates a whole new dimension to dealing with Jolly Drivers. For example,
Turn not allowed (user reported)

Problem: 66 does not allow entry to 28 north heading e on 66

Conversation

Really? Then they probably ought to take down those big green signs on I-66 E that say "28 North Dulles Airport". Oh, wait, you were _on_ 28 north when you made this report, so how did you get there?
I probably shouldn't press "Send" on this.... :D

Problem: Gallaudet University has 5 entrances - 2 on 9th St., 2 on Virginia Ave., and 1 on Florida Ave. map should indicate which entrance driver wants to go to..
You just need to change the setting under Menu | Settings | Advanced | Mind Reading

(I won't even mention the fact that two out of the three streets named are wrong.... Oh, wait. )

To be honest I think it's a good suggestion.
There should be global weather warnings per regio.
Rain, Snow, Fog, Wind, low sun.
Oh, God, please, NO! I spent an hour and half last weekend driving from Baltimore to Washington, D.C. in the pouring rain, with my windshield wipers going the whole time. I must have heard "Watch out. Rain reported ahead." at least 10 times in 60 miles.

Fog, yes. Ice on road, absolutely. Other than those two, I think these weather warnings are ridiculous. Warnings are useful only for very localized conditions, not for something that every driver for ten miles around already knows about.

Reported as an UR rather than a hazard or traffic jam.
Response to user: If you expect that the train will still be there 48 hours from now, I'll go ahead and edit the map. :)
