Oh, goody, a guessing game. OK, I'll rename the street to "Clueless User Dr", and if that's not right, you can post another UR tomorrow.General error (user reported)

Anyway, the UR balloon was on US Hwy 50, a road that I am familiar with and I am sure it is indeed US Hwy 50. If the driver was complaining about one of the neighboring roads, he/she didn't say which one it was. Another guessing game!Mike-1323 wrote:Spil, stop injecting common sense into our fun!Spil wrote:Or you could try looking it up in a reliable and authoritative reference guide online .

I have seen a fair number of URs of this general type; it seems that some users believe that "operators are standing by" and they will get an immediate response to their problem, or perhaps a custom re-route.txemt wrote:I understand it rained a lot last night in San Antonio and some parts of the city do flood, but I'm not Moses.

Really? Then they probably ought to take down those big green signs on I-66 E that say "28 North Dulles Airport". Oh, wait, you were _on_ 28 north when you made this report, so how did you get there?

Oh, God, please, NO! I spent an hour and half last weekend driving from Baltimore to Washington, D.C. in the pouring rain, with my windshield wipers going the whole time. I must have heard "Watch out. Rain reported ahead." at least 10 times in 60 miles.petervdveen wrote:To be honest I think it's a good suggestion.orbitc wrote:Interesting suggestion....
There should be global weather warnings per regio.
Rain, Snow, Fog, Wind, low sun.
Fog, yes. Ice on road, absolutely. Other than those two, I think these weather warnings are ridiculous. Warnings are useful only for very localized conditions, not for something that every driver for ten miles around already knows about.
