Editing Map "Sign" for other editors.

So my thought is... have a pin or sign or some other visible marker on the editor map. This will not push trough to the client. The purpose of this marker would be to inform all editors who happen across it of something.

"This road has been disconnected do to construction." "Please do not connect until Oct. 2014". Something like that. Quick... 1 sentence notice for other editors. That way others aren't left trying to decide if an issue is an error that needs corrected or done for a particular reason.

Should be easy to implement if you all likes.

This is a great idea and one that has been brought up countless times. I believe this is unanimous amongst editors. It was presented to Waze a long time ago but they have yet to acknowledge the need for it.

Until this feature is added, try using URs with a note not to close.

I believe a "comments" option/field is being worked on as we speak.. In the meantime, In rare cases where I need to leave a map comment I have created a "Point" with the category of "Other" then added my comment in the description and set the name to "PM me b4 making changes."
